There has not been much going on around here. It has been rainy the last few days so we have been kinda lazy. Wednesday afternoon we got out for about an hour. We went and got Sam some new tennis shoes for school and picked up a few other things. Yesterday I went to Curves in the morning and then Jeremy was at school all day getting his classroom ready. The kids and I are staying in this morning while Jeremy is meeting with another local youth pastor to plan a youth event that they are doing at the end of August. When he gets back I am going to go exercise again. We were going to go to the Sounds game tonight but we were once again not sure of the weather but Jeremy and I are going to go on a date and the kids are staying with his parents. I do not have anything planned for the weekend. Jeremy has several things going on tomorrow but the the kids and I will probably stay home. Well here are a few pictures from yesterday. Have a great weekend.

We are having a pretty good week. I am finally feeling back to 100% and so far nobody else has been feeling bad. We did have a little issue on Monday when I found Sam's pet fish dead in the fish bowl. Sam was a little upset but we told him we would get him a new one after school starts. On the subject of school, we went today and got his supplies for school and I only teared up once so I thought I did pretty good. He was holding his lunch box and it just made him look so big. He really is excited about going to Kindergarten and I am happy for all the new experiences that he is going to have next year, but I really am going to miss the little guy. He has been so funny lately. A few weeks ago he started to pretend that he has a girlfriend named Jesse. He does not even know anyone by the name of Jesse. He pretends to talk to her on the phone. In the beginning when he described her he said she had gray skin, blue hair, and she was wearing a red shirt and blue pants. Yesterday Jeremy was talking about someone he needed to call and her name was Jesse. Sam came in the room and said, "Dad, are you talking about my girl Jesse?" I then asked him a few more questions about this girlfriend he had. He said she was 10 years old and when I asked him where he met her he said he met her in Korea. He then said, "She came home on a different airplane than me." It was so cute.
Anyway, the kids are taking a nap and I am still trying to get the house back in order so I better get some work done while I have a few minutes. We do not have a whole lot planned for the week. Jeremy will be working in his room at school tomorrow and we are going to try and make up the Sounds game that was rained out. Well here are a few pictures of the girls from today.

Well I am finally feeling better. I slept most of the weekend but I am still a little sleepy. I think the medicine I am on has something to do with me being so tired. We have a busy week. It is hard to believe but this is Jeremy's last week of summer vacation. He has training next week for some program that he is part of at school. The next week is inservice and then they have a half day of school on August 14th. Sam also goes half a day on the 17th and then starts all day on the 18th. It does not seem possible that Sam is stating school. We still have a few things to get together for Samuel and I also need to g through his clothes to see what he has to wear. He has to wear solid color pants (no jeans) and solid polos. We need to get him a new backpack, lunch box and a new pair of tennis shoes. We are all going in this week to help Jeremy get his room together at school. I need to start getting my house back together from our trip and my sickness. Jeremy was very helpful and did most of the laundry from our trip so that was very sweet. Well we all got up a few minutes ago and so the kids need some breakfast. Here are a few pictures of the kids. Sam is still all about his trains, Emma got a new Dora bike which he loves, and Chloe got a new backpack that has Little Miss Giggles on it

We are back from Cincinnati. We had a great week and the kids did amazing. There was a lot of sitting through services and singing competitions and they did such a good job. It was nice to see friends that we had not seen in a while. Jeremy and I took the teens to Kings Island on Wednesday and my kids stayed with my mom for the day. It was raining most of the day but we still had fun and the lines were really short for all of the rides. We left Thursday morning to come back home. My throat started hurting on Wednesday but by the time I got home Thursday I was running a fever and felt horrible. When I woke up Friday morning I was still feeling bad and my throat looked horrible. I went to the doctor and I have a upper respiratory tract infection and a bacterial infection that has the same symptoms has strep throat. They gave me an antibiotic and I slept most of the day yesterday. The doctor said it would take 3-5 days for the infection to leave my body so I am supposed to stay inside until Monday. Well I need to get going. Here are two pictures from last week.

Well we are back online at home, well sort of. Our AT&T wireless card arrived yesterday but it works a little different then we thought. We only have so much time we can be online and it is kinda slow. I have been trying to post some pictures but it is taking forever. I may have to just post picture once or twice a week. I do not have any pictures but I thought I would give a quick update on what is going on at the Riggs' house. We have had a pretty good week. We have been busy packing and getting ready for the National Association of Free Will Baptists starting Sunday in Ohio. I thought it would be pretty easy to get mine and the kids clothes together but it is actually taking longer than I thought. I try to plan for two outfits a day and it hit me that I am going to need 12 dresses for the girls. I am also taking extra time getting my stuff together because I know that I change at least 3 times every Sunday morning for church and so I am stuck with whatever I bring. The kids and I are leaving Sunday morning and Jeremy and the teens are leaving Sunday afternoon.
Well the kids are doing great. Emma is talking up a storm. Her new favorite phrase is "Chloe leave me alone". Chloe just follows Emma around and wants to do EVERYTHING she is doing, right down to how she is holding her hands. Emma is just the sweetest but she only acts like herself around a few people. She is still VERY particular about who she talks to and who she lets hold her. She is not as open with other people as her brother and sister. Sam is getting so excited about going to school, which is in 4 weeks!! We are planning on taking him shopping when we get back and have a special day with him. He is such a good little boy and he is so sweet too. This morning he called me in his room to show me that he cleaned the room and made up his bed. He just is growing up so fast and I really am going to miss his sweet little face around the house when school starts. Chloe is still my little handful. She is saying a few new words. She actually can say most simple words that start with the letter "B". She still will not say 'dada" but she does sometimes say "yaya" when she calls for Jeremy. They have all been healthy so far this summer and have enjoyed traveling and playing outside. I hope all of you checked out their picture that I had taken by Jessica Hollis Photography. They are amazing and I am going to have a hard time picking which ones to buy. Well I better get going. We have to go pick our van in a few minutes. We had to get two new tires. Before I close I do have a prayer request to share. I cannot go into the details but I would appreciate your prayers for my family and myself. I am not talking about Jeremy and the kids but my extended family. We have been shaken recently by something that has taken place and we just need some prayer. We are witnessing first hand the danger of sin in our lives and what happens when we are not always trying to get closer to God. None of us are immune from the sin in the world and unfortunately it has hit very close to some people we know and love very much.

Still no Internet at the house. The Charter people never showed last week. We actually ordered a AT&T wireless card today so it should arrive in a few days and we should be back online at home. We had a pretty good week last week. Chloe had a great birthday and we had a great time at the camping trip. I wished I would have brought an air mattress to sleep on but other then that is was really fun. Well it is kinda of awkward to write in the the van but here are a few pictures from last week.

Still no Internet at the house but I thought I would post a few pictures from the weekend, so I am once again sitting outside a coffee shop. Our July 4th did not turn out so great. We went to the Sounds game but it ended up getting rained out. We were at the ball park getting wet for a few hours and then the game was finally called and there were no fireworks. Sam was pretty disappointed but we told him we would take him back. The Sounds do fireworks every weekend so we will probably go back in a few weeks. We have a pretty busy week. Tomorrow night we are having Chloe's birthday party. I cannot believe that my baby will be two on Wednesday! I have to take her for her two year check-up Wednesday morning and then Thursday thru Saturday Jeremy and I are taking some teens on a camping trip. I really like the IDEA of camping but I have actually never been so I am hoping that I actually LIKE to camp. We will be sleeping in tents but there is access to a bathroom and showers. Well I better get going. I am on my way to Wal-Mart to get stuff for the party tomorrow. I will try to post pictures from the party on Wednesday but no promises. The cable people are coming back tomorrow and we are hoping to get back on line but not sure what will happen.

So the Internet guy came today but there is still a problem so we still do not have Internet at the house. Right now I am sitting in my van about to go to Curves borrowing the wireless from the cafe in front of me. I needed to pay some bills so I thought I would give a quick update on our week. We have stayed home most of the week. We worked in the yard and the kids played outside almost every day. We also got our underground electric fencing put in for Molly. We are still training her but I think she is catching on pretty quickly. The kids have played nice all week. Tomorrow we are going to Jeremy's parents and then going to the Nashville Sounds game. They have amazing fireworks so we are excited. I am hoping the kids are not too scared of them. Well I better get going. I will try to post of picture in the next few days. I hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend.
