Today is going to be a busy day around the Riggs' house. We are cleaning the house and garage. I have been going through stuff the past few days and getting rid of clothes, toys, and whatever else we do not need or use. We are trying to make room for Chloe. If only I could add on to my laundry room. I can not seem to catch up on the laundry. I did not realize how one little girl would add so much laundry. It seems like a long time before Chloe comes home, but I am sure it will be here before we know it. Our social worker is coming on Tuesday for Emma's second post placement visit and to officially start Chloe's adoption. Unfortunately we will not get a picture of Chloe until August, but I guess we have this waiting thing down. Well, I guess I better get to cleaning.
Oh, the newest excitement around here is the 7 kittens. Our cats had kittens about a month ago. Samuel and Emma get so excited every time they see them. Samuel always wants to hold them and Emma just shrieks and says "CA, CA". I know they will be disappointed when we get rid of them (anybody want a kitten?).

Here are a few pictures of my sweeties taken the past few weeks.

We had a crazy night! Samuel wet the bed twice last night. He first wet his bed and then he wet our bed. We are not quite sure what to do with him. We stopped buying pull-ups about three weeks ago and he has been really good at telling us when he has to go to the bathroom. Emma was up at 11:45 but thankfully she went back to sleep in her bed. She was up again at 4am and her and Jeremy fell back asleep on the couch. Emma has actually has done well sleeping in her bed. She sleeps from 8-4 and then goes back to sleep until 6:30 or 7. Well, we are all up and getting ready for the day. I have to go to work and Jeremy and Sam are going to school.

May 16th is a day remembered as the day of bad news and good news. It was 4 years ago today that my Grandma passed away and it has been three years ago today that we got the call from Korea that they approved us to adopt Samuel.

Thursday

Well, several of my friends have a blog spot and I love reading about their kids so I thought I would give this a try. There is always something cute my kids are doing and I would like to share some of those moments with you.

We had a good day. Jeremy had a interview today with a school in Nashville and got the job! He will be teaching 1st grade next year. I was relieved to know he had a job lined up for next year.

Emma had her 18th month check up today and did such a great job. She is healthy but very tiny. She only weighs 18 pounds (only 12 ounces more than when she came home) and 30 inches long. Samuel went with us to the doctor and was very helpful. He kept telling Emma, "It's OK. Your doing good". It was sweet. When we got back in the car Jeremy said, "Samuel you did good helping Emma". Samuel responded, "No I did not, I am not a doctor". It was so funny.

It is hard to believe that Emma has been home three months already. She has adjusted well with our family. She is definitely a Daddy's girl. She is just a sweetheart. We are very blessed to have such wonderful children.
